A guide to MaxMSP and PureData programming environment for beginners. The book covers the basic data structures, and concepts, and the similarities and differences between the environments.

The tutorials covers the basics of working with the PureData and MaxMSP environments, also for people who previously did not have to do with programming, even in visual paradigm. Topics include both basic concepts and programming issues, as well as issues concerning the graphics, video, sound and interaction.
